Add Piazza as an External Tool in Sakai (LTI 1.3)
Log into Sakai as a System Administrator and go to the Administration Workspace. From there, navigate to External Tools.
Click the link in the top right to Install LTI 1.X Tool.
Configure the External Tool with the following values:
Launch URL: provided by Piazza; school-specific. Please contact integrations@piazza.com to get your school’s Launch URL
Privacy Settings:
Send User Names to External Tool
Send Email Addresses to External Tool
Services:
Provide Roster to External Tool
Allow the tool to be launched as a link
Indicate that the Tool supports LTI 1.3

LTI 1.3 Tool Redirect Endpoint(s): https://piazza.com/lti/connect
LTI 1.3 Tool Keyset URL: https://credentials.piazza.com/lti/jwk.json
Click Save.
4. Open the External Tool that was just created. Please share the Client ID value with Piazza at integrations@piazza.com to complete the tool setup.
In addition to the client ID, we may request the following values in order to complete the integration:
Platform ID
Authorize Redirect URL
Public JWK URL or json file
OAuth token URL
