By default, Piazza is enabled in the course navigation menu in Canvas. To disable Piazza in the course navigation menu please follow the instructions below. These steps assume you have already installed Piazza using our LTI 1.3 instructions.

Click on Admin and then click your account

Click Developer Keys in the navigation menu

Click the pencil icon next to your existing key for Piazza

Under Method select Paste JSON

Above "placement":"course nagivation" type "default":"disabled",

Change the Redirect URI to https://piazza.com/lti/connect

Click Save. You may have to refresh or log out of Canvas for the change to take effect.
